About Us
Red Raider Racing is a student-led organization that gives Texas Tech University students the opportunity to get hands-on experience by designing, fabricating, and marketing a Formula SAE car. Each year, our team designs and manufactures a brand-new FSAE vehicle to compete in the International Collegiate Design Competition. Our student organization is composed of 14 officers as well as over 100+ members that work together to develop a technically sound and competitive car.
Experience
Red Raider Racing's goal is to help members become better engineers. We do this by exposing individuals to the engineering design process, company and alumni networking, and skills building for the members to be marketable to companies.
Networking
Red Raider Racing's alumni network includes professionals at top companies like Peterbilt, SpaceX, Boeing, Bell Flight, Lockheed Martin, Texas Instruments, Ford, Tesla, Ferrari, Cummins, and Rivian. Our alumni help by offering exclusive job application opportunities through Information Sessions, giving you an edge in the competitive job market.
Community
FSAE members are united by a sense of camaraderie, passion, and dedication. You will meet many friends and mentors throughout your time in Red Raider Racing and become part of a supportive, tight-knit community.
